The Sports Coach Smoothie
Sports coaches often work late in the evenings.
Instead of eating a main meal when getting home late, have a larger lunch. Then here is a great option for 5pm which will help with digestion, sleep and recovery. There will be no need to eat afterwards!
- Handful of spinach
- Scoop of vanilla protein powder
- 1-3 tablespoons of MCT Oil
Spinach is great for providing iron & magnesium. Protein is required at every meal and this is an easily digestible form. Sports coaches will need extra protein to the population as often they are very active. Banana for some quick release carbohydrates. The magic here is the MCT Oil. Medium Chain Triglycerides are fantastic for energy and will make you feel full. Work up steadily from 1 tablespoon as can be heavy on the stomach to start with.
